Our friends’, family members’ or partners’ lives are full of important moments: moments of transition (starting a new job, getting married, having a baby), milestones (birthdays, graduations, promotions), or of low moments (someone going through a difficult time) that deserve to be marked, commemorated and elevated by an intentional gathering.

Celebrations and events remind us that we are loved, that we matter, that we belong. Yet, often times, we follow pre-made scripts and remain at a superficial level. Hi! I'm Monica Matei.

I created Ceremonica to explore the world of experiences. I love seeing how people light up, get surprised, and show more of who they are when engaging with my work.

I am trained in Experience Design by Kaospilot. Over the last few years planning and facilitating meetups, workshops, dinners, and bonfire circles. And I have designed my own wedding from scratch.

My colleagues describe me as unconventional and inspiring. I put extra love and care into what I do, hoping that this energy will be felt by those who interact with my creations.
